When you have reserved a property and successfully completed the referencing process we will send you a tenancy agreement. The tenancy agreement can be digitally signed and returned, which avoids the need for you to return the agreement by post. This will be followed by a welcome pack which contains a resident handbook, gas certificate and an EPC for the property. It also contains a standing order for you to arrange future rent payments. The covering letter in the pack will provide a full break-down of the advance payment made to reserve the property and also the rent and deposit move in monies you will need to pay to secure the tenancy.

We will then contact you to take payment of the move in monies for the property.

Your move-in monies are made up of your deposit and rent payment which will be fully detailed in your welcome pack. We recommend that the deposit and first month’s rent is paid more than three days in advance of the move in date to prevent any last minute issues.

tenancy deposit scheme

Allsop will place your deposit in the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, a secure government backed scheme. The details of the scheme will be listed in your tenancy agreement and we provide full details, including the statutory “Prescribed Information” on how your deposit is protected, on or before the day you move in.

when is my rent due?

Please refer to your tenancy agreement for the date your rent is payable. Many residents find it easy and time saving to set up payments by standing order, so the payments are automatic and they do not need to spend time making arrangements every month.
